An English 18 carat gold open faced key wind pocket watch made by Robert Roskell in Liverpool, Chester Hallmarked for 1822. The gilt full plate movement with an English lever escapement and plain three arm balance. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, large subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gilt spade hands. The polished case with a coin edged band. Dial and movement signed, case and movement with matching numbers. Comes with a winding key.
