A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1870. The jewelled movement with a lever escapement. White enamel dial with black Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost blue five minute numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gilt Louis XV hands. The brushed and polished, hinged case with a rose gold cuvette, translucent blue enamelled on both sides with diamond set edelweiss decorations. Case numbered.
