An English 20 carat gold triple cased key wind pocket watch made by Allen Walker in London, London Hallmarked for 1785. The gilt full plate movement with a fusee verge escapement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, three arm balance and silver regulation. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer arcaded minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals and gilt diamond set hands. A polished inner case, the pierced repoussé middle case possibly depicting Constantine and Saint Helena and an outer glazed, studded shagreen case. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered, the inner case numbered and stamped W.R. Comes with a gilt metal watch chain and winding key.
