An American 14 carat gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by Hamilton Watch Co. in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, circa 1911. The nickel finished Swiss lever movement with a cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions with red Arabic five minute numerals, sunk center, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. The foliate engraved hinged case with a blank cartouche on the front, three colour gold decoration on both sides and a single stone on the back. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered, case numbered and stamped B.W.C Co. for Brooklyn Watch Case Co. Comes with a gold chain.
