Very heavy German gold lever pocket watch
–
A 18 carat gold, full hunter cased “a goutte” (water drop shape), spring lid with monogram AW, original glazed movement and a very fine anker chronometer movement with rare patent regulator pointer, prime quality 1A with diamond endstone, circa 1882. Chronometer balance with gold screws, gold lever, gold escape wheel and screwed gold chatons.
Original enamel dial in perfect condition, blued steel hands, excellent condition, matching numbers 13778 on case and movement, in good working order.

With extract of the archive, historical watch. No.2 of only 2 anker chronometers with patent regulator pointer and former chronometer certification of the Royal Observatory Leipzig.
Because of the heavy case with 106.6 g, this watch was the 1st extra heavy anker chronometer ever noted in the archive and probably the heaviest one hitherto.
