Very rare small watch with original box
–
A very rare, early full hunter case watch with original box, made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, Germany, circa  1882. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and has an empty cartouche on the front lid. The white enamel dial features an outer track with minutes division, Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and blued steel hands. The numbered movement is fitted with an early A . Lange & Söhne precision lever escapement, a gold lever and a gold escape wheel.
The dial, movement and box are signed.
