A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless pocket watch with perpetual calendar, and phases and age of the moon made by Breguet, circa 1900. The matte gilt movement with 17 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with temperature and meantime adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring and an index regulator. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions, outermost Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary dials for the date at 3 o’clock, days of the week at 9, the months with four year cycle at 12, an aperture for the moon phases with concentric auxiliary seconds and the moon’s age at 6, and original blued steel spade hands. The polished case with correctors in the band and a hinged gold cuvette. Cuvette signed and numbered.
