A fine and elegant Swiss 18 carat gold, pearl and ruby set open faced keyless ladies’ pendant watch with a detachable gold, pearl and ruby set crown brooch fitting made by Golay Fils & Stahl in Geneva, circa 1900. The matte gilt movement, ∅ 20 mm, with eight jewels, a cylinder escapement, three arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals and gilt Louis XV hands. The case back entirely set with a pearl lattice highlighted with rubies, of which one is missing, and the bezel is seed pearl set. A further hinged gold cuvette. Case numbered.
