A very early English silver verge pocket watch, circa 1710.
Early English verge movement, signed on the plate case maker punch EG with crown, very beautiful ornamentation with bird motifs and child portrait on the cage.

Big and steeply rising fusee, original Egyptian pillars, extraordinary nice champlevé silver dial with English royal escutcheon in the centre.
Old blackened hands, movement intact, service suggested since stored for decades, very well-known English watchmaker.
