A French 18 carat gold and enamel open faced quarter repeating verge pocket watch, circa 1780. Verge movement, repeating hours and quarter hours, repeating on bell. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and probably original hand. Case set with stones to both sides, translucent blue enamel on engine turning to the case back, applied decoration, 5 part lateral hinge.
