Gold and enamel centre seconds cylinder pocket watch

An English centre seconds cylinder in gold and enamel pair cases circa 1771. Full plate fire gilt movement with dust cover. Pierced and engraved cock with large diamond endstone, pierced and engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel set-up between the plates. Plain three arm polished steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, large brass escape wheel. Lateral steel stop lever. White enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman and Arabic numerals, polished steel seconds hand, blue steel beetle and poker hands. Plain inner case, gold pendant and bow, maker’s mark IR in a rectangle. Fine engraved outer case the floral decoration of translucent dark blue champleve enamel, makers mark HT.
