Gold decorative pocket watch

An English gold, enamel, diamond and pearl set verge pocket watch with a glazed protective outer case, circa 1790. The fire gilded full plate movement with a verge escapement, fusee and chain, a pierced and engraved cock, pierced and engraved table, diamond end stone in a polished steel setting, silver regulator disc, plain three arm steel balance and blue steel spiral hairspring. Winding through the white enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, outer minute divisions and fine diamond set hands. The consular case with a translucent dark blue enamel back decorated with diamonds, both bezels are set with large split pearls bordered by outer opaque white enamel and outermost translucent blue enamel, the oval pendant and bow are decorated to match, the band with a small button to open the bezel.
