A large French silver quarter repeating oignon pocket watch, circa 1710. Bell, verge movement, repeating the hours and quarters, signed plate, silver verge bridge. White enamel dial (small repairs at the rim) with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, hour hand presumably original, minute hand replaced. Elaborately and splendidly decorated case with sound openings, landscape scene and various bird scenes to the back.
