An early German silver open faced lever pocket watch, circa 1888. Retailed by Kutter in Stuttgart.  Engine turned case with gold hinges and gold crown. A. Lange & Söhne precision lever movement with gold lever and gold escape wheel, early version without fine adjusting device. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Dial signed by watchmaker, movement signed by retailer. Case and movement with matching number. Comes with extract from the archives.
