An exceptionally large English silver and shagreen triple-cased verge oignon pocket watch, circa 1690. Glazed, early verge movement, plate with a large gemstone, rare and exceptional silver movement protection. Champlevé dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, steel hands. The outer case is covered with shagreen and plain second and third cases. Dial and movement signed.
