An extremely rare English 18 carat gold open faced half quarter repeating pocket chronometer, Hallmarked London 1818. Very fine calibre with duplex escapement and diamond endstone, special chronometer balance with trapezoidal weights, repeating hours, quarters and half quarters. Gold dial with Roman numerals, multi coloured gold decoration and original snake hands. Plain case. Movement signed and numbered.
