A historically important Italien 18 carat gold and enamel open faced ankerchromometer pocket watch, circa 1895. Gift watch of the Italian Royal Family Umberto I. Geneva ankerchronometer movement, wolf’s toothing. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands.  Case with polychrome enamel on the back. Case numbered, cuvette signed and numbered, case and movement with matching numbers.
