A very heavy and rare Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced split-seconds chronograph lever precision watch, circa 1893. Retailed by Tiffany & Co, New York. Patek Philippe precision lever movement, split-seconds chronograph, Geneva striping decoration. Cuvette with later dedication: Larry Waterburg S.P. Harlan Jan. 1st 1923. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands. Plain case.

With 54 mm and 135 gr. this piece is an impressive and very rare Patek Philippe pocket watch. In 1893 Patek Philippe supplied a series of these fine split-seconds chronograph movements to Tiffany in New York. They all were made for the American market and had 97000 numbers.
