An extremely rare Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel form pendant watch with chatelaine, The Basket, circa 1810. Case in the shape of a basket, two handles, hinged spring lid, polychrome enamel, lid with net-like design, embedded leaves, flowers and a detailed butterfly, under the lid the concealed watch with verge movement and white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, steel hands. Accompanied by a gold hand-shaped chatelaine with multi-coloured carved flower relief. Case numbered, dial signed, movement signed and numbered.
