Exceptional French 18 carat gold and enamel open faced verge pocket watch, circa 1800. Verge movement. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions and rose gold hands. Engine turned case, the back enamelled and decorated with raised multi-coloured gold inlays, a little opening button in the band. The dial professionally restored, small enamel restorations at the rim on the back. Movement signed.
