Rose gold open faced quarter repeater by Jean Louis Debrit

A large and flat Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced quarter repeating cylinder pocket watch, circa 1810. High-quality movement, repeating the quarter hours, rectangular gongs, ruby cylinder in the manner of Breguet, temperature compensation. Finely engine-turned gold dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, between the numerals decorated with engine-turned flowers and massive rose gold Breguet hands. Engine-turned case, case maker’s mark I.E. Case and movement with matching numbered, cuvette signed and numbered.
