A very early and rare German 18 carat gold hunting cased lever pocket watch, circa 1863. Early Lange Dresden precision lever movement with gold lever and gold escape wheel, 2/3 plate, diamond endstone, screwed gold chatons, key winding. Restored and not original white enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Case engraved, blanc cartouche. Dial and movement signed, case and movement with matching numbers. Comes with old winding key and a like-new Lange & Söhne presentation box.
