A nearly like new Swiss 18 carat rose gold skeletonized quarter repeating Jacquemart automaton, circa 1810. Verge escapement. Skeletonized gilt dial with florally decorated engraved plate, striking mechanism with polished steel parts, four-coloured gold figured automaton, splendid decoration with frosted and polished parts, white enamel ring in the centre with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions and blued steel Breguet hands. Two figures striking the bell with axes, repeating the hours and quarter hours. Case with wave-like engine-turning on the back, reeded band.  Cuvette signed and numbered.
