An English 18 carat gold half-hunting cased quarter repeating deck chronometer with stoppable seconds, London Hallmarked 1830. Very fine chronometer movement, extra-large chronometer balance, diamond endstone, lever escapement, stop device for the seconds, repeating the hours and quarter hours. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Massive relief rim with shell decoration in the style of the Liverpool chronometers, in the band a slide to open the spring lid. Movement signed and numbered.
