A very fine Swiss 18 carat rose gold and enamel open faced quarter repeating Lépine pocket watch, circa 1820. Cylinder escapement, fine calibre with temperature compensation and parachute, repeating the hours and quarters. Silver engine-turned dial Roman hours and outer minute divisions, blued steel hands. Black enamelled case, very elaborately decorated. Case and movement with matching numbers.
