A very fine English 18 carat gold open faced lever pocket watch with stoppable seconds and Liverpool Windows, circa 1830.  Liverpool patent movement, lever escapement, stop-seconds, Liverpool Windows, engraved cock with inscription Patent, diamond endstone, chain and fusee. Extravagant champlevé dial in gold and silver with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands. Engine-turned case with engraved rim, case maker’s mark T. H & J. H., English gold punches, original dust cover. Movement signed, movement and case with matching numbers. Comes with the original box.
