A German 14 carat rose gold hunting cased lever pocket watch, circa 1904. A. Lange & Söhne precision lever movement, gold lever, gold escape wheel, fine adjusting device, DUF quality. Cuvette inscribed Kommt Zeit Kommt Rat Neujahr 1905 (We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it New Year 1905). White enamel dial with black Arabic hours, red Arabic minutes and seconds, original rose gold hands. Engine-turned case. Dial signed, case numbered, movement signed and numbered, case and movement with matching numbers. Comes with the original box still containing a spare spring and an extract from the archives.
