A Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased pocket chronometer made for the Dutch Court watchmaker Van Arcken & Co, circa 1908. High precision lever movement, spring detent escapement, extremely rare fine adjusting device patented by Charles Rosat. Cuvette inscribed Zenith Grand Prix Paris 1900 and Van Arcken & Co Horlogers de la Court Batavia & Soerabaya. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, rose gold hands. Engine-turned case. Dial signed by the retailer, case numbered, movement signed by the watchmaker and retailer, Comes with an Extract from the Archives.
