A fine Swiss 14k gold minute repeating, keyless pocket watch, circa 1920. Made for the American market. A solid, polished case, hinged gold cuvette with engraved dedication. White enamel dial with dauphine numerals, outer minute track, red-painted Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold Louis XV hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 16 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with four adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial signed Huguenin-Breguet, case signed Wittnauer & Co.
