A very fine Swiss 18K gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch with single button chronograph, circa 1887. A polished case, front cover with engraved initials ROB, chronograph button at 12. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute and 1/5th seconds track with five-second Arabic markers. Sunk subsidiary seconds dial and blued steel Breguet hands. Nickel plated, 3/4-plate movement, Geneva striping decoration, straight-line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
