A fine German keyless pocket watch, 18K yellow gold chronograph watch with instantaneous 30-minute register and pulsometer graduation, circa 1920. A solid, polished, case back decorated with an engraved wall, on it an applied skull resting on a book dated 1920 next to a caduceus and a branch, gold hinged cuvette decorated with Grand Prix medals from different exhibitions.

White enamel dial with painted Arabic numerals, outer minute and chronograph divisions, outermost red graduation to 30 pulsations, subsidiary sunk seconds and 30-minute register dials. Yellow gold spade hands. A nickel movement, Geneva striping decoration, 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, visible chronograph works. Dial, case and movement signed.
