An American lever in a gold full hunter case, hallmarked Birmingham circa 1925. Nickelled split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals and blue steel hands. Plain 9 carat Dennison case, gold cuvette with presentation inscription. Maker’s mark ‘ALD’ in a rectangle.
