Gold  full hunting cased pocket watch

An American decorative lever watch with three 18 carat gold lids in a solid gold full hunter case, circa 1881. Golt glazed three-quarter plate keyless movement. Engraved cock foot with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Lever escapement.
Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals and blue steel spade hands. Decorative multicolour gold 18 carat full hunter case, flat covers engraved with foliage and flowers, the front with a shield-shaped cartouche with the initials FH. Gold cuvette with the engraved words ” Presented to Fannie Hablizel by her parents Sept.13th 1881″. This watch was a gift for her 16th birthday.
