A high-quality and sought-after American railroader’s watch with Waltham Vanguard calibre numbering system and power reserve, circa 1928.
Very fine American lever movement with 23 jewels, gold impellers and fine adjustment as well as screwed gold chatons. Signed white enamel dial with radial Arabic hours, outer minute track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, power reserve (up-and-down) indicator and blued steel hands. Polished 10 Carat gold filled screwed railway case, marked FT.
