A fine extremely decorative American hunting case pocket watch for the Ottoman market, circa 1900. 14k gold case, engine turned and hand-engraved with Oriental city view and ower tendrils, gold dome, case maker’s punch mark “B.W.C.Co.” Enamel dial, Ottoman numerals, auxiliary seconds, blued Fleur-de-Lys hands. Full plate movement, screwed gold chatons, silvered, decorated, adjusted, “Safety Pinion”, gold screw compensation balance, blued balance spring, cam type fine adjusting device.
