A fine, elegant, thin and large Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating keyless lever dress watch, circa 1920. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 29 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Gold hinged cuvette engraved Marcel Vichet. White enamel dial with black fancy Arabic numerals, outer minute track with red Arabic 24-hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and gold Breguet hands. Polished case, the back with engraved monogram MV. Dial signed. Accompanied by a box.
