A fine and very rare Swiss 14 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch with Westminster chimes carillon made for the German market, circa 1910. Rhodium plated movement, 32 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on four gongs with four hammers activated by a slide on the band. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds and original gold spade hands. Polished case. Dial signed, movement engraved with Constant Piguet’s patent number.
