A fine and rare Swiss silver and niëllo open faced keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1922. Matte gilt movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometre regulator. Hinged silver cuvette engraved Der Schweizerische Bankverein an Seine Mitarbeiter zur Erinnerung an Sein Fünfzigjähriges Jubiläum 1872-1922. White enamel dial with black Arabic hours, outer minute divisions and outermost blue Arabic 24-hour numerals, subsidiary seconds, black Breguet hands. Polished case, a niëllo bezel with the lettering Schweizerischer Bankverein 1872-1922, the back is also niëllo with a portrait of Helvetia within a wheatear border. Dial signed, case numbered, movement signed and numbered. Accompanied by the original fitted presentation box, a Guarantee and a rating certificate.

Zenith SA is a Swiss luxury watchmaker. The company was founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle in the canton of Neuchâtel and is one of the oldest continuously operating watchmakers.
