A fine and large Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch with a triple date calendar, chronograph and moon phases, circa 1910. Frosted gilt movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with prize medals and technical details, glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. White enamel dial with Arabic hours, an outer minute track and 1/5th of a second chronograph divisions calibrated to 300, auxiliary seconds at 6, subsidiary dials for the date, days of the week and months, an aperture for the moon phases, gilt Louis XVI hands. Polished case, a button at 12 o’clock for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph. Case and cuvette signed, movement numbered.
