A very fine Swiss 14-carat gold open-faced Art Deco pocket watch, made in the 1930s. Frosted gilt movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Champagne-colored dial with applied gold Breguet numerals, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds dial, and original yellow gold Breguet hands. Milled ornamented bezels, case back decorated with alternating polished and striped rectangles, reeded band, gold hinged bezel and lunette. Dial, case, and movement signed, case numbered.
