A fine and rare, very thin Swiss 18 carat gold open faced lever dress watch, made in the 1930’s. Rhodium plated, Geneva striping decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring. Guilloché silver dial, sunburst pattern with printed black Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions and original blued steel Breguet hands. Polished case, rounded bezels, triangular bow, case back with initials E.F.E.D. Dial signed by retailer, case numbered, movement signed by watchmaker.
