A very fine, elegant and very thin French 18 Carat gold and enamel open faced keyless lever dress watch with a fine 18 Carat gold and enamel long chain, circa 1915. Rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bi metallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator.
Matte silver sunburst engine turned dial with dauphine numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and original blued steel Breguet hands. Case with knife edge band, the back with central red and white enamel geometric monogram, wide polished bezel. Dial and movement signed, case numbered.
