A fine, elegant and thin Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating keyless lever dress watch, circa 1927. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Gold hinged cuvette with engraved presentation inscription. Sand-coloured dial with black champlevé dauphine numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and original black spade hands. Polished case, the back with engraved monogram E.G.F. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Accompanied by a Ulysse Nardin box.
