A fine Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless lever chronograph with register, circa 1926. Gilt movement, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance with screws, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, eccentric cam micrometre regulator. Gold hinged cuvette, stamped with medals from different exhibitions and engraved 7 Grands Prix Chronographe. White enamel dial with bold black Arabic 1-11 numerals and bold red 12, outer minute divisions with black Arabic 13-23 numerals and red 24, sunk subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30-minute register, original gold Louis XV hands. Polished case, the front with an applied monogram, engraved dedication on the interior, pusher in the band. Dial, case and movement signed, case and movement numbered.
