A very fine, rare and elegant Swiss platinum open faced square keyless lever dress watch, circa 1920. Rhodium plated movement, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Frosted silver dial with painted Roman numerals, inner minute track and original blued steel Breguet hands. Brushed case with rounded corners, polished bezel, four screws to secure the back, triangular bow. Dial signed Cartier Paris, movement signed European Watch & Clock Co Inc.
