A very fine Swiss 14 carat rose gold hunting cased keyless lever pocket watch , circa 1910. Frosted gilt movement, 17 jewels, some in screwed gold chatons, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and original gold Louis XVI hands. Relief decorated case, the front engraved with a scene of a young lady reading a letter to her companion in a garden, the back decorated with foliage in relief and central engraved monogram, polished borders. Dial, cuvette and movement signed. Accompanied by a fitted box and a gold chain.
