A very fine, elegant Swiss platinum and diamond set keyless lever dress watch, circa 1940. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva Striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Matte silver dial with applied white gold reeded hour baton indexes, outer engraved dot minute divisions and white gold feuille hands. The polished case with a curved bezel, the snap-on back set with an outer circle of diamonds in a millegrain setting. Case numbered.
