Silver keyless cylinder inking chronograph by Patek Philippe

A fine and very rare Swiss silver keyless cylinder inking chronograph with progressive 60-minute register, circa 1891. Sold on September 17, 1909. Frosted gilt quarter plate movement, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain brass three armed balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. White enamel dial with Arabic 10-second numerals, outer fifths of a second division, subsidiary 60-minute register, and original blued steel patent inking hand. Polished case, the back engraved with foliate initials W.L., start/stop and return-to-zero functions activated by a button in the band at 1 o’clock, button in the crown for jumping the inking needle. Dial and movement signed, case numbered. Accompanied by the original Patek Philippe fitted box, original ink bottle, ink pin, and Extract from the Archives.
