Gold minute repeating lever chronograph by C. Barbezat-Baillot

A fine and large Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating chronograph keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1910. Frosted gilt movement, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, centrifugal governor, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a push-button on the band. Gold hinged cuvette engraved with prize medals. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track and outermost fifths of a second divisions, subsidiary seconds and original gilt Louis XV hands. Polished case, the back engraved with the coat of arms of a Vicomte and motto Lux in Tenebris Lucet (light shines in darkness). Case numbered, cuvette signed Le Phare.
