A very fine Swiss Naviquartz III quartz chronometer with centre seconds, stop feature and battery power reserve indicator in a mahogany deck box, circa 1975. Movement with quartz standardization, electronic, hack mechanism for stopping for precision setting. White enamel dial with bold Roman numerals, outer minute track, below on the brushed brass dial plate two apertures, right for push-button activating power reserve indication, left for the indicator and original black Breguet hands. Three-tier box, hinged, corners and sides reinforced by brass inlays in the tradition of marine chronometers, the interior of the lid with applied vacant brass plaque, bottom with folding brass stand. Dial signed.
